ABOUT THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION PROTECTION WARRANTY
Upon Purchase of
the Warranty Program you will receive a warranty package. Included in
the warranty package is an additive treatment that must be installed.
Installation procedure instructions are listed below.
The additive treatment is scientifically formulated to increase the
performance and longevity of your engine and transmission. You
must have the additives installed in accordance with the terms and
conditions of your contract to obtain the benefits of your program.
Failure to have the additives installed in accordance with the terms and
conditions will invalidate your contract and all future benefits.
All program benefits
begin 61 days and 151 miles or 61 days and 51 hours
after product treatment installation date and mileage.
Covered Components - Zero Deductible
Engine The following internally lubricated parts,
pistons & rings, crankshaft, main bearing, connecting rods, rod
bearings, camshaft, camshaft bearings, timing gear & chain, valve
springs & guides, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, lifters, rocker arm
shafts. Engine block, heads and cylinder barrels are covered only if
damaged by a part listed above. Any damage resulting from overheating of
any component or components for any reason is not covered. Only listed
parts are covered.
Transmission The
following internally lubricated parts,
gears, bearings, internal drive gear & chains, internal selector
mechanism; transmission case is covered only if damaged by an above
listed part. Any damage resulting from overheating, low or contaminated
fluids, for any reason is not covered.
Labor & Diagnostic
Charges are
covered in conjunction with an authorized repair on above listed
components. No labor or diagnostic charges will be paid on unauthorized
claims. Replacement Parts In the event of an authorized claim on an
above listed component, the administrator’s obligation is limited to
repairing or replacing broken parts only. Worn or burned parts are not
covered.
Maintenance Requirements and Treatment Installation Procedures to keep
this Program in Force
1. Within 7 days of receiving the product protection treatment you must
assure that the product is installed by a licensed commercial service
facility.
Installation Procedures
On machines with 4
cycle engines:
Within 7 days of receiving the product treatment you must assure that it
is installed in the engine/transmission oil reservoir by a licensed
commercial service facility. A documented and verifiable record of this
installation will be required in the event of a claim. Handwritten
receipts and records will not be accepted.
On machines with 2 cycle engines:
Within 7 days of receiving the product treatment you must assure that it
is installed in the transmission oil reservoir by a licensed commercial
service facility. A documented and verifiable record of this
installation will be required in the event of a claim. Handwritten
receipts and records will not be accepted.
Maintenance
Requirements
On machines with 4
cycle engines:
Engine/transmission oil must be changed by a licensed commercial
service facility prior to and no more than 30 days before installing
these treatments, keep all receipts as proof will be required to file a
claim against this warranty. Handwritten receipts and records will not
be accepted.
On machines with 2 cycle engines:
Transmission oil must be changed by a licensed commercial service
facility prior to and no more than 30 days before installing these
treatments, keep all receipts as proof will be required to file a claim
against this warranty. Handwritten receipts and records will not be
accepted.
3. In addition to the above you are required to have a licensed
commercial service facility change your Off-road vehicle / ATV's oil
every 6 months or 1500 miles or 150 hours, whichever occurs first. For
street bikes you are required to have a licensed commercial service
facility change your machines oil every 6 months or 3000 miles,
whichever occurs first. Proof of this maintenance will be required in
the event of a claim. You must keep records and receipts of all required
maintenance and product installation. Handwritten receipt and records
will not be accepted.
4. Properly documented and verifiable receipts for all required
maintenance will be required in the event of a claim.
5. Acceptable records must: be issued on the date of maintenance or
installation, be issued in the name of the contract holder, be signed by
the contract holder, be issued by the commercial service facility
performing the service, include mileage or hours (where applicable),
date, vehicle identification number, year, make and model, and include a
record of payment and service performed.
Exclusions and Exceptions
1. Failure of any covered component within the first 60 days or 150
miles or 50 hours after product treatment installation will not be
covered by this program.
2. The following are excluded, any and all damage or expenses resulting
from: abuse or misuse, negligence, freezing, rust or corrosion,
overheating of any type, failure to maintain proper coolant and fluid or
lubrication levels, personal damages, per diem expenses, storage fees,
medical expenses, telephone or renal charges, fire, flood, vandalism,
theft, collision, acts of God, racing, all usages and alterations not
approved by the motorcycle / ATV manufacturer or within the
manufacturer’s specifications, improper load capacity or improper
towing, damages caused by contaminated fluids, coolants, or lubricants
for any reason, any damage caused by the continued operation of the
above listed motorcycle / ATV when a problem has occurred,
3. Pre-existing conditions and parts that are worn or burned but NOT
broken are not covered by this program. Broken parts are defined as
parts that have cracked or separated into pieces.
4. Any component or part not listed as a covered part will not be
covered. Incidental and Consequential damage is not covered by this
program.
5. All motorcycle / ATVs must have either a functioning odometer or hour
meter to be eligible for coverage under this program. Claims occurring
outside the United States are not covered by this program.
6. Any work or repair done to your motorcycle / ATV without prior
authorization from the administrator will not be considered a valid
claim.
7. Limits of Liability: $2000 or the actual cash value of the above
listed motorcycle / ATV, whichever is less at claim time. Values will be
determined by the NADA or Kelley Blue Book guides.
This agreement is a
product warranty and is not insurance.
It is not subject to state insurance laws but subject to state laws
concerning warranties.
You must use the product as instructed in order to receive the benefit
of the warranty.
